CASE STUDY № 02
PROJECT BRIEF
Founded in 1912, Marvin Windows & Doors has always sought ways to help people live better, and since then has raised the bar by striving to build products that provide quality, beauty and simplicity. As part of its marketing strategy, Marvin Windows & Doors has commissioned Arc & Co. Design Collective to design an exhibition space that will highlight the company's history and its commitments, which have always guided the company.
A primary goal of the campaign space was to elevate the company's brand presence and educate young professionals about the company’s heritage and dedication to excellence. Additionally, the exhibit must include a custom window and door system to highlight the quality of their products and their capability to provide custom solutions. The exhibit design must be simple, clean, and visually compelling to stand out from the rest of the crowded exhibition hall.

DESIGN SOLUTION
Taking its inspiration from how light passes through windows, Arc & Co. Design Collective designed the exhibit space with a slatted parabolic roof structure that mimics the appearance of sunlight. By framing the products along both sides of the space, the showroom created a cosy atmosphere allowing visitors to be close to the items on display. With its bold Marvin yellow colour, the structure was a striking contrast to the off-the-shelf exhibits that surrounded it.
As a means of communicating the brand's history and culture, custom patterned wallpaper was designed, embellished with facts, details and figures that have led the company to excellence in their field. Viewers roamed amidst quotes from employees, testimonials from past clients, and significant dates from company history to discover the value of working with Marvin Windows & Doors. With elements of intrigue, discovery, and imaginative architecture design, the exhibit design was awarded the Gold and Silver IIDEX Canada Innovation Award for Booth Design for two consecutive years.
